Parents as teachers is open to enroll families from the Upper Kanwaha Valley, St. Albans and Clendein/Elkview area!

We are now offering play groups for children up to 5 years of age at:
 

  • Cedar Grove Elementary on Monday's from 10:00 a.m. to noon
  • Pratt Elementary on Tuesday's from 10:00 a.m. to noon
  • Anne Bailey Elementary on Wednesday's from 10:00 to noon
  • Sharon Dawes Elementary on Thursday's from10:00 to noon
Circle of Parents® provides a friendly, supportive environment led by parents and other caregivers. It’s a place where anyone in a parenting role can openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising children. It’s a place where parents can find and share support.  We meet every Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sharon Dawes Elementary.  Call (304)993-6919 for more information.

Bring your baby or toddler up to 5 years of age in a stroller or on a bicycle and walk or ride a mile long track with lots of crafty activities to the book, "I Love You, Stinky Face! by Lisa McCourt on October 21 at the Ben Morris football field in Marmet from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  The idea to this event is to incorporate physical activity with early literacy.  Call (304)993-6919 for more information.

Kiddie Health and Information Fair at Sharon Dawes Elementary on October 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Come and gain information about community resources, decorate pumpkins, eat dinner and take a hay ride.
